PHOTOS – We don’t release the unedited gallery but you can purchase the whole gallery professionally colour-graded for $210. (t&c apply)

REELS – Unfortunately we don’t give out any un-edited reels footage

You’ll receive your Online Proofing gallery within 24 hours (usually later the same day/evening).

 

Final edited images will be delivered within 14 days after selection and payment for any extras.

 

Fully edited Reels will be delivered within 7 days of your shoot.

Yes! We offer an express service for $60, delivering your edits within 2 working days after payment. (Subject to availability.)

 

Headshots: We Highly recommend coming alone, as having others in the studio can be distracting. They are welcome to wait in the café.

 

Reels: You can bring someone to assist with eyeline reference or an acting coach if needed.

Yes – our building and studio is wheelchair accessible.

Yes, there are restrooms on the studio floor.

Industry City has over 40 restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby.

A deposit at the time of booking.

 

The remaining balance is due 72 hours before your shoot.

If you want multiple hair/makeup changes, THE NINETY is ideal.

 

If you plan to shave mid-shoot, THE NINETY is highly recommended.

Please, don’t be! All our YB Team are actors themselves so they know just how you’re feeling – they’ve been there before and know exactly what is needed for a chilled, fun shoot.

No, we shoot exclusively in our indoor studios.

We do indeed. Whether you’re a comedian, casting director or want more of a corporate shot for your job/business – we’ve got you covered.

At the start of each session, you and your YB team member will have a detailed chat to ensure you’re both on the same page. Throughout the session, they’ll also show you previews of the photos/reels to make sure you’re happy with the direction.

It’s always helpful if you bring references of shots you like from our website or Instagram—this way, we can collaborate to achieve the look you’re aiming for.

 

For Reels – We find it works best when you do a mock-run or deliver a few lines so we can show you the lighting set up before you start concentrating on your scene.

Yes, the studio has a makeup area where you can do touch-ups between looks. We also work with a fantastic list of makeup artists whom you can book separately for hair and makeup. However, this would need to be done before your photoshoot, not during. There are nearby areas by our studio where this can be arranged.

Rescheduling: You can reschedule once up to 72 hours before your shoot without losing your deposit.

 

Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable.

 

If you cancel within 72 hours, a new deposit is required.

 

If you cancel within 48 hours, 50% of your total session fee is charged.

 

If you cancel within 24 hours, you are charged the full session fee.

Our editors apply the distinctive YellowBelly style, as seen on our website and social media.

We aim to follow specific client requests provided before editing.

 

One revision is included. Additional re-edit requests will incur a fee.

 

For reels: Re-edit requests must be made within 7 days of delivery and will incur a fee.

 

Due to file size limitations, we cannot store files beyond this timeframe.

No, we do not record a second person. However, you can bring someone to act as your eye line or an acting coach.

We do not film slates during photography sessions.

 

A 30-minute slate session can be added for $200 (US), including three takes delivered with your photos. Our Slates will be in the same set up as one of our portraits, not our reels.

No, we do not take topless photos. Our photographers reserve the right to refuse any shots they deem inappropriate.

In our basic Reels package, we shoot exactly what’s advertised on our socials: two cameras with some zoomed-in shots. If you’d like any variations or custom setups, please let us know before your session so we can adjust the quote. On the day, our photographers can only provide the standard setup included in the advertised package.
